Googly-Eye Corsage tutorial

Greetings! Welcome to my first tutorial. I really enjoyed putting this together . I hope you enjoy it and find it easy to read and follow. This is a super fun craft and even more so if your a fan of googly eyes.

Enjoy. Happy Khaos & Crafting!

Supplies:

Ribbon, any color/style, 4 strips (each the length of a fork)
2 googly eyes
Glue, this time I used Fabric-Tac Permanent Adhesive. You can also use a glue gun or your favorite strong hold glue.
Fork, one that you will not use for food after, keep it as your
craft tool. It will help you glue the
ribbon together and not get your fingers in the glue.
Wax paper, or something to craft on so that you don't get
glue on your stuff.

Step 1: Take one strip of ribbon and find the center. Lay the ribbon down flat. (If you are using a ribbon that is decorated on only one side then you will need to put the fancy decorated side down away from you.) Add a line or drop of glue in the center. Fold over each end one at a time towards the glue in the center and hold.

This is what you want your ribbon to look like once it is glued down. The center crease is where the glue is holding the ribbon together making two loops.

Step 2: Hold the ends down for a few seconds to make sure they stick. I like to use a fork, feel free to find a tool that works best for you.

Step 3: When you are done they should look like this. Make sure to pull them off the wax paper so they don't get glued down. I stand them up to keep them from sticking.

Step 4: Add a drop of glue to the center of one loop.

Step 5: Grab a second loop and glue it to the center of the first loop. Glue them together in the middle. criss-cross like.

Step 6: Grab a third loop and glue it down across the first two loops. Make sure to hold it together to make sure it sticks.

Step 7: Glue down your last loop like you did the 3 before.
This is what it should look like after you glue all 4 loops. Use your fork to hold it down a few seconds to make sure it sticks.

Step 8: Grab your googly eyes and glue them on in the middle of your corsage. You can also use a glue gun or a similar adhesive. I put glue on the back of the eye and then pressed it against the corsage.

Step 9: Tada! You are done. How awesome is that?!
You can now glue a pin to the back and wear it like a Goddess! give it away, or stick it somewhere.
