The Descent

For my mother. Because she called me today and told me to begin preparing for her death. Scary thought, only she's been reminding me that she will one day die for lots and lots of years. Despite the lack of shock in that statement on my part, it is still a depressing thought. I love you mom. And, the day you die will be the saddest day of my life.

I plan on transferring it over onto a canvas and adding color soon.

In honor of Yarn Bomb Day 2011 #3-Big Momma

The largest one, yet. I used 3 kinds of yarn. Attached a flower, which I had originally wanted at the top, but it ended up at the bottom by the time I realized. Either way I love it! I am super proud of it. It is the largest most consecutive pieces I've ever worked on. The photos are different views.

2nd bomb of the night in honor of International yarn bomb day. I like the way it fit right between the arms of the bike rack.

June 11, 2011- 1st International Yarn Bomb Day
In honor of this awesome day I took to the streets and added to the celebration.
This was the first one up! With the help of my look out, Grey Matter, I successfully managed to get 2 more up that night. I returned the next morning for photos.
